Data protection

Field of application

The purpose of this data protection declaration is to inform users of the www.kneifel.ch website, in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act and the German Telemedia Act, about the type, extent and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator (Musik Hug AG, Schützenmattstrasse 14 – 16, CH-8180 Bülach).

Musik Hug AG takes the protection of your data very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal requirements.

We remind you that, in general, data transmission over the Internet is always associated with certain security risks. Complete protection against third-party access is not feasible.

Access data

Musik Hug AG or the operator of our website collects data about access to our websites and stores it in the form of « server log files ». The following data is recorded :

  • Visited website
  • Time of site access
  • Volume of data sent in bytes
  • Mention of the source indicating the site from which you accessed the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used

The data collected is used solely for statistical evaluation purposes and to improve the corresponding website. However, the website operator reserves the right to check the server log files at a later date if there are clear indications of illegal use.

Cookies

Musik Hug websites use cookies. These are small text files stored on your terminal. Your browser accesses these files. The use of cookies enhances the user-friendliness and security of the corresponding website.

Most browsers offer the option of not allowing cookies. Note : there is no guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of the corresponding website without limitations if you make such a setting.

Personal data processing

Musik Hug AG collects and uses your personal data, which will only be passed on if this is permitted by law or if you give your consent at the time of collection.

Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you as an individual. Such data — for example, your name, e‑mail address and telephone number — helps us to identify you and contact you.

Contact details processing

If you contact Musik Hug AG using the contact options provided, your details will be stored so that we can use them to process and respond to your inquiry. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Processing comments and contributions

Your IP address is recorded if you leave a contribution or comment on the website you have visited. This is to ensure the security of Musik Hug AG : if the text you have written contravenes the law, we want to be able to trace your identity.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), to analyze how visitors use the site. This service uses « cookies » — small text files that are stored on your terminal. The information collected via cookies is sent to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored.

Our sites anonymize IP addresses. Users› IP addresses are truncated within EU member states and the European Economic Area (EEA). This process removes the personal reference from your IP address. Within the scope of the data processing agreement between the web operator and Google Inc. Google Inc. uses the information collected to evaluate the use of the website and website activities, and to provide other services related to internet usage.

You can prevent cookies from being saved on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. There is no guarantee that you will be able to access all the functions of our websites without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

By using a browser plug-in, you can prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. As a user, you will receive, free of charge and on request, information about the personal data we have stored about you.
